Description

Right, time to overhaul this cheesy cornball of a story.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"If this is all you have, admittedly, you're in a lot of trouble if someone else more powerful than I comes along and sweeps up the world in their hands. But..." Mekhan stated, after dissolving the ribbons within himself. "Wait... I see something inside of these. Something... far more. Much more. Like this is just the tip of the iceberg."

While his gaze remained upon the group, a hand stroked at his 'chin', seeming deep in focused thought, his eyes narrowed. "Interesting... Don't talk. Let me muse over this for a while." Just as one of them was about to speak in an attempt to throw off their befuddled expression, she stopped at his silencing hand. "Well, this is a new discovery... Oooh yes. Now THAT is something I would have trouble handling, unlike your... elements."

The shocked faces slowly changed from that to confusion as Twilight finally was able to land, with her strain lightening up. She was sweating, Mekhan could see, and two of her comrades moved closer to check if she was alright. Mekhan closed his eyes however, not paying them heed and crossing his arms, angling his face downwards to think.

Along these trails he has captured,  his mind's eye traced a finger over the paths of harmonious powers, the many virtues that govern the beings of Light. This conjured the images of the six reshaped elements, outside of their armor, alone. They glittered and sparkled, not by his imagination, and one of those glitter drew him closer... deeper in his thoughts. Deeper, perhaps, than his own mind.

A cold, unrelated to the black Hellfire flames burning upon his very essence, made him quiver suddenly. There it was. Hidden within the reflections given off by the power he was holding onto in ribbons, he could see it. A... tree? "Why of all things a tree?" He muttered his thought, paying no heed to the fact that something was making a noise around him. He had to go deeper... Deeper still, he traced through the essence of power. Deeper still, he forged on, and now he could feel the limbs, a sensation. Something... wonderful. It was as if he was descending through the veins of the tree, into the trunk of it, where something was hidden. A physical entity... metallic?

The sudden slash of the black blade was not seen by any of them except for a faint outline, his eyes open again in an angry glare, one hand gripping her chest tight while the other raised in a fist, ready to strike. They were hovering once again, with Twilight's engulfed white eyes suddenly returning in slow motion, to that of someone seeing the horror of their oncoming, most ominous disaster about to strike. It had not been the interruption that caused four of them to suddenly look so crestfallen, so mortified.

"First off... Look your victim in the eye next time." And then, the bones toppled, tapping their owners on the noses as the severed ligament from whence they cast fell. It was the perfect cut too, leaving not a stump behind. Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Rarity were the first to notice it, with the remaining gaining an equally horrified look when they all fell to the ground without warning, just after spotting the horns moving free of their owners.

"Second, how dare you remain ignorant after I removed the illusions. Did you not see I merely tricked you into believing I was hell bent on counter-production and destruction against your society?" He said, swiping up all four horns in one hand with a loud clattering, clenching them all in a fist while they stared momentarily at their bereavements, caring not for the gasps they may give, or the grunts and/or squeals of shock or pain, though they would not feel any such wounds. They would feel the pain of shock, of depravity like a mother having her daughter forcibly taken from her.

"Third, these seem so valuable to you. Don't they? I love to teach, much like she does." He continued, pointing a thumb at Celestia just off to the side and behind him, eyes still only on Twilight while his hand gripped at her mouth, forcing it to remain closed, silenced. "I could give you the lecture about the golden rule, but that'd be mundane, redundant, and rather hypocritical of me, given the situation. I don't like to see hard working folks like yourself suffering physical pain. Emotional pain, on the other hand, is one of my fortes. Consider it, 'inheritance' thanks to where I was before here. Now... You want these back? Then ready yourselves a..." He paused  for a moment, thinking of something he could require in order to test them. "...Apology. And when you're ready, meet me atop of that mountain."

Mekhan looked about. Black coils had sprung out of him moments after the blade had vanished, and bound themselves around each of the ponies' legs, gagged their mouths shut and bound their wings if they had any, forcing them   into a prone position of part kneel, all of them positively looking terrified. Even the princesses, who were the most calm, were quite alarmed at just how easily he had sliced the horns right off of their heads, with no warning. Mekhan could even feel some of them trembling. Fluttershy was leaking the quietest tears anyone had ever witnessed. Pinkie Pie vibrated violently like she was having a seizure. Applejack was upside down, looking like a defeated calf about to be spayed. Rainbow Dash's fur was puffed up, her wings pressuring against the sleek, black, texture-less tentacles with the same hellfire encasing it, that bound her tight. Twilight had a twitch in her eyelid, sweating with her ears lowered. Rarity appeared she was already getting dizzy, close to fainting. It was perfect, so perfectly set up to allow him to do what he likes with them. While they may still be able to attempt casing the elements again, they were far too morally shattered for it, terrified that if they tried again, he might lop off another limb without haste... He could hear that thought as if it was a page in a diary.

"And here are the conditions. You must climb the mountains yourselves, and without help from the earthen or the flying one. It will be just you four, who were magic users before now." Mekhan announced, suddenly pulling out four duffel bags, and what appeared to be a receipt stuffed into one of the bag's zipper. "You will use these, and you have the equivalent of two Equestrian days to reach reach the platform I will build on it. Failure to arrive in time will result in your horn being destroyed. You must do so from your own orifice, not for others, if you desire it back. And most important of all... it better be a damn good one."

What did he find that he said he might have trouble with, and why are the Elements nothing compared to him?
